Jakarta, June 14 -- The government has urged all Indonesian Hajj pilgrims to maintain their health ahead of their return journey from Saudi Arabia to Indonesia.

"Pilgrims are advised to keep themselves in good condition and stay healthy, especially since the return trip is long and physically demanding," said Akhmad Fauzin, Head of Public Relations and Communication at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, during a virtual press conference on Saturday.

"We pray that the return journey proceeds safely and smoothly, and that all pilgrims return home in good health and attain the status of Hajj," he added.

Earlier, Fauzin reminded pilgrims to pay attention to baggage allowances and airline regulations for the return trip.
