Jakarta, Jan. 29 -- Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan announced that the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program has reached over 60 million beneficiaries, as the number of kitchens serving meals for the program continues to increase.

After a coordination meeting in Jakarta on Thursday, he noted that as of January 29, as many as 22,091 MBG kitchens, officially named Nutritional Fulfillment Service Units (SPPGs), have operated across the country.

He explained that the implementation of the MBG program involves supply chain support and partnerships, including direct labor at the SPPGs, suppliers, and partners.
