Jakarta, Jan. 20 -- The Indonesian government reported that as of November 10, 2025, a total of 18,614 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have participated as suppliers in the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program.

Minister of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Maman Abdurrahman said on Tuesday that the program is projected to absorb up to 2.25 million workers.

"Approximately 2.25 million workers could be absorbed, with the potential involvement of 450,000 MSME suppliers across 30,000 MBG kitchens, with each MSME typically employing one to five people," he said during a meeting with Commission VII of the House of Representatives (DPR RI).
