Jakarta, Aug. 6 -- President Prabowo Subianto has emphasized that Indonesia's food production remains safe and robust, crediting former president Joko Widodo for a smooth leadership transition that helped stabilize the food sector.

"I can say that our food production remains secure and robust," Prabowo said during a plenary cabinet meeting at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday.
