Jakarta, Oct. 20 -- Indonesia's Pangan Nusa Expo 2025 concluded with potential transactions worth Rp161.2 billion (around US$9.7 million), the highest figure since the food exhibition began in 2006.

"This record achievement shows strong interest in Indonesia's local food products from both domestic and international markets," Trade Minister Budi Santoso said on Sunday.

The total figure includes potential business-matching deals between participants and buyers, agreements for overseas culinary expansion, and direct sales during the expo, held in Jakarta from October 15 to 18.

According to Santoso, business-matching transactions between food MSMEs and modern retailers contributed Rp37.6 billion. Potential memorandum of understanding (MoU...
