Jakarta, Nov. 6 -- The Indonesian Ministry of Trade recorded a 4.56 percent growth to US$6.5 billion in Indonesia's fashion product exports during the January-September 2025 period.
Trade Minister Budi Santoso stated that the achievement reflected the big potential of Indonesia's fashion industry, especially in modest or Muslim fashion.
"Our fashion exports increased from January to September, rising by 4.56 percent. Now the value has reached US$6.5 billion," he said in Jakarta on Thursday.
Santoso noted that the increase in exports reflected the high competitiveness of Indonesian Muslim fashion products.
According to him, this achievement also provides momentum to strengthen Indonesia's position as a global Muslim fashion hub.
