Jakarta, Oct. 20 -- Head of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) Bambang Soesatyo said that Indonesia is on the right track in its diplomacy amid global issues as it has taken a strategic position in foreign politics.
"Indonesia has been able to influence and shape many international events," he said in the opening speech of the Presidential and Vice Presidential inauguration of Joko Widodo and Ma'ruf Amin in Jakarta, Sunday.
He also said that Indonesia had been able to become a key player in stabilizing the Asia and Pacific region.
