Denpasar, Feb. 27 -- The capital city of Indonesia's Bali Province, Denpasar, celebrated the 237th anniversary of its inception, with Bali Governor Wayan Koster serving as inspector of the commemoration ceremony in Denpasar on Thursday.
In his speech, Koster, who arrived at the ceremony's venue at around 7:30 a.m. local time, spoke highly of the significance of Denpasar as the capital city of Bali.
He emphasized that the city's development requires support from the Bali provincial government, officials from other Balinese districts, and all components of society.
