Jakarta, Oct. 28 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Health said the Free Health Check (CKG) program could reach 50 million participants in one week, as part of efforts to expand nationwide public health services.
Director General of Primary and Community Health Maria Endang Sumiwi said on Tuesday that around 46 million people had participated in the program so far.
"The focus remains on dental health, nutrition, and body mass index," Maria said when asked about the most common conditions found during the health checks.
Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin stated on October 17 that the CKG program could cover up to 70 million people this year.
