Jakarta, Sept. 11 -- The National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) stated that the recent floods in Bali has claimed at least 14 lives and displaced hundreds of people across seven districts and cities.
According to Head of BNPB's Center for Data, Information, and Communication on Disaster, Abdul Muhari,the 14 fatalities include eight from Denpasar, three from Gianyar, two from Jembrana, and one from Badung.
A joint team is actively engaged in emergency response operations, including searching for missing people, evacuating flood victims, and mitigating further flood and landslide risks.
BNPB data also shows that two people from Denpasar are currently missing.
