Jakarta, Jan. 8 -- Deputy Health Minister Benjamin Paulus Octavianus stated that 63 cases of "super flu" have been detected in Indonesia, but he urged the public not to worry as the situation remains under control.

"The 'super flu' is under control. This strain, or Influenza A (H3N2) subclade K, was first identified in America. Currently, the 63 cases detected in Indonesia have undergone laboratory examination. For prevention, we use the standard influenza vaccine," he said.

He made the statement after reviewing the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program at Public Vocational School (SMKN) 1 Jakarta on Thursday.
