Jakarta, June 20 -- President Prabowo Subianto affirmed Indonesia's commitment to promoting collaboration and the peaceful resolution of global conflicts-a stance he believes is shared by President Vladimir Putin.

"In international affairs, as President Putin explained earlier, Indonesia and Russia indeed share many views," Prabowo said during a joint press statement with the Russian President at the Constantine Palace in St. Petersburg, Russia, on Thursday.

Prabowo emphasized that both countries are committed to respecting the sovereignty of all nations and rejecting inter-state conflict.
