Jakarta, Dec. 10 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto stated that relations between Indonesia and Russia are currently in excellent condition, following a series of intensive meetings between the two countries in recent months.

The statement was delivered during President Prabowo's meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Wednesday.

"My visit was initially meant only for consultations, but now it is really to express my gratitude because the relations between Russia and Indonesia, for us, are now at a very good level," Prabowo said, as monitored through a live stream on the Presidential Secretariat's YouTube channel.
