Jakarta, April 29 -- Indonesia's Primary and Secondary Education Minister Abdul Mu'ti confirmed that technology major Google is ready to arrange coding and artificial intelligence (AI) training for teachers to support the government's decision to offer them as school subjects.

"We have met with Google, and they are ready to train at least one million teachers in coding and artificial intelligence," he informed at the 2025 National Consolidation of Primary and Secondary Education in Depok, West Java, on Tuesday.

The minister added that coding and AI subjects can be Internet-based, device-based, and non-device-based.
