Jakarta, May 23 -- Foreign Minister Sugiono and the Romanian Ambassador to Indonesia, Dan Adrian Balanescu, have explored strategic cooperation in agricultural trade, particularly in food products, between Indonesia and Romania.
During a meeting with Ambassador Balanescu on Wednesday, Minister Sugiono emphasized the considerable potential for increasing Indonesia's exports of leading products, such as palm oil and paper, to Romania.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both parties also agreed to strengthen sociocultural cooperation initiatives, including university partnerships, to enhance people-to-people ties between Indonesia and Romania.
