Jakarta, Feb. 5 -- Indonesia is continuing to strive to deal with climate change, in keeping with President Prabowo Subianto's stance at several international forums, Minister of Environment, Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, has said.

During a working meeting with the House of Representatives (DPR) at the Parliament Complex here on Wednesday, Nurofiq said that Indonesia remains committed to taking steps to address climate issues even though the United States, under Donald Trump's leadership, has withdrawn from the Paris Agreement.

Referring to President Prabowo's statement at the G20 Summit in Brazil in November 2024, Nurofiq said that his side is committed to taking steps to deal with climate issues to check the rise in Earth's temperature.
