Jakarta, June 12 -- Foreign Minister Sugiono has said that Indonesia has proven itself to be a reliable partner in infrastructure development, both at home and abroad.

"The Indonesian government and firms have also been actively contributing to various infrastructure projects abroad, mostly in the Global South," he informed at the International Conference on Infrastructure (ICI), which was followed online from Jakarta on Thursday.

According to the minister, Indonesia has participated in several projects abroad, including the development of a metro overpass system in the Philippines, offshore projects in Senegal and Mauritania, bridges in Taiwan, and housing in Algeria.
