Jakarta, April 12 -- Foreign Minister Sugiono affirmed Indonesia's unwavering support for the Palestinian people at the Joint Arab-Islamic Ministerial Committee Meeting in Antalya, Turkey, on Friday (April 11).

"Indonesia is committed to playing a more active role in helping the Palestinian people," Sugiono stated at the meeting, as quoted in his statement.

The Joint Arab-Islamic Ministerial Committee series began with a meeting of the foreign ministers of the OIC-Arab League special envoy members, followed by an extended meeting involving partners, including several European countries and members of the UN Security Council.
