Jakarta, Sept. 26 -- The Indonesian Defense Forces (TNI) have expressed their readiness to deploy peacekeeping troops to conflict zones such as the Gaza Strip and Ukraine, pending approval from the President and the United Nations.

"The deployment of TNI troops to new conflict zones like Gaza or Ukraine must follow UN mechanisms and receive authorization from the Indonesian government. Once we receive the mandate, we are ready to go," said Head of the TNI Information Center Major General Freddy Ardianzah on Friday.
