Jakarta, March 29 -- President Prabowo Subianto reiterated Indonesia's readiness to assist in recovery efforts in Myanmar and Thailand following the destructive 7.7-magnitude earthquake on Friday (March 28).

"Indonesia stands ready to provide all necessary support for recovery efforts in affected areas," the president noted in his written remarks on social media X on Friday evening.

Prabowo also extended his deepest condolences for the devastating earthquake, which so far has caused 150 deaths and hundreds more injured in the two countries.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of both countries during this difficult time," Prabowo remarked.
