Jakarta, Feb. 12 -- Indonesian Navy Chief of Staff Admiral Muhammad Ali said that his office has prepared a hospital ship and troops to be deployed to Palestine as part of its commitment to the Board of Peace (BoP) to help defuse the conflict.
"We will send a hospital ship. Currently, one is still on the list, but it could be more than one," he informed on Thursday.
According to him, the Navy will prioritize sending one hospital ship to Palestine. A second hospital ship will be kept on standby as a reserve.
Ali said the hospital ship's deployment will also coincide with the deployment of troops in the construction engineering and health sectors.
