Jakarta, Aug. 18 -- The Indonesian government is continuing efforts to improve education quality as part of its strategy to strengthen human resources, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Cultural Affairs Pratikno said on Sunday.

Speaking after the Independence Day celebrations in Jakarta, Pratikno emphasized the government's strong commitment to building a quality nation to achieve the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision.

"The education budget has been set at 20 percent of the State Budget, but this year's allocation is the largest ever," he stated.
