Jakarta, Dec. 8 -- The Indonesian government is accelerating cleaning, repairs, and service restoration at regional hospitals affected by recent floods and landslides in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra.
Director of Health Surveillance and Quarantine Sumarjaya said on Sunday that restoring basic services is the ministry's top priority.
"We are working non-stop to ensure service restoration," he said, stressing that the government will reopen healthcare services as quickly as possible for affected communities.
