Jakarta, Dec. 2 -- The Ministry of Communication and Digital reported that more than 90 percent of transmission towers in flood- and landslide-affected areas in West Sumatra and North Sumatra have resumed operations.
The government is also ensuring accelerated telecommunication network recovery for residents to resume communication and access important information.
Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid said here on Tuesday that restoring communication services is a key government priority to meet residents' needs and maintain effective disaster-response coordination.
