Jakarta, Dec. 2 -- The government is preparing temporary housing for victims of floods and landslides in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra, as informed by Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf.

"The National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) is preparing temporary housing, with the program already in place. Followed by plans for permanent housing, as part of the reconstruction and rehabilitation," he said here on Tuesday.

Currently, the government is prioritizing emergency response efforts in the three provinces, as victim searches continue and several areas remain isolated.
