Jakarta, July 2 -- The House of Representatives (DPR) has received the names of proposed Indonesian ambassadors for several countries, including the United States, a post that has been vacant since 2023.

"Regarding our vacant ambassadorial posts in friendly countries, I have been informed that the ambassadorial candidate names have been received by the DPR leadership," DPR Commission I legislator T. B. Hasanuddin confirmed at the parliament complex here on Wednesday.

In addition to the United States, proposed envoys for other countries such as Japan and North Korea have also been submitted, he noted.
