Jakarta, Oct. 24 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Housing and Settlements said the Housing Program Credit (KPP) is expected to accelerate the government's 3 Million Houses Program.

The ministry's Secretary General Didyk Choiroel said in a statement on Friday that the government is intensifying public awareness of the KPP to support the target.

KPP provides working capital and investment loans to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to strengthen priority programs in the housing sector.

Choiroel explained that the program's target groups, funding purposes, and simplified requirements are designed to help MSMEs and the public build or renovate homes, contributing to the 3 million houses goal.
