Jakarta, July 23 -- The Indonesian government has called for stronger cooperation between Southeast Asian nations to ensure maximum protection for migrant workers and their families within the framework of the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR).

Deputy Minister of Human Rights, Mugiyanto, gave the call while speaking at the Regional Dialogue on Responsible Business and Migration in ASEAN, held in Bangkok, Thailand, on Tuesday.

"In a bid to support such collaboration, the Indonesian Human Rights Ministry, through Presidential Regulation No. 60 of 2023, has introduced the National Strategy for Business and Human Rights, whose active term will end in September 2025," he said, as per a statement released here on Wedn...
