Jakarta, May 9 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions has highlighted its commitment to pursuing the target of eliminating tuberculosis (TB) by 2030 through village fund allocation.

Deputy Minister of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions Ahmad Riza Patria said in Jakarta on Friday that the central government allocates around Rp400 million (approximately US$24,198) to Rp1 billion (around US$60,496) to each village.

"The village community, through village deliberations, discusses the use of the village fund," he informed.

He added that the fund provided to each village can be used for various purposes, such as health, including the handling of stunting and TB.
