Jakarta, June 1 -- Indonesia's Deputy Minister of Tourism, Ni Luh Puspa, visited Madrid, Spain, to promote sustainable tourism and strengthen tourism diplomacy during the 123rd Session of the UN Tourism Executive Council.
"Indonesia, as a country committed to sustainable tourism development, must take part in this meeting to promote sustainable tourism through tourism villages and green investment," Puspa said in the ministry's statement received here on Sunday.
Puspa represented Indonesia at the session, where the country serves as a member of the Executive Council representing the East Asia and Pacific Commission for the 2023-2027 period.
