Jakarta, Feb. 2 -- The Ministry of Culture has expressed its support for promoting the works of Indonesian filmmakers on the global stage, including at the 2026 International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) in the Netherlands.
"We are encouraging more Indonesian filmmakers to gain exposure on the global stage," Minister of Culture Fadli Zon said in a statement on Sunday (February 1).
He said the government remains committed to supporting Indonesian filmmakers so they can become more active, competitive, and capable of competing internationally.
