Jakarta, Jan. 26 -- Improving the quality of human resources is a priority for the Indonesian government in developing the employment sector, according to Minister of Manpower Yassierli.
He said that quality improvement is key to creating a competitive workforce in the digital era.
"The challenges facing the Indonesian workforce are low education levels and a lack of digital skills," Yassierli said in a statement issued on Sunday.
He highlighted the low human capital index and digital skills of the Indonesian workforce compared to other ASEAN countries.
