Jakarta, March 30 -- Indonesian authorities shifted focus to preparations for the reverse flow of this year's Eid homecoming exodus on Java Island after concluding the one-way scheme implemented across the Cikampek Utama and Kalikangkung toll gates on Sunday.
"We officially ended the national one-way scheme this morning as planned. Next, we will make preparations for the Eid reverse flow," Transportation Minister Dudy Purwagandhi said in a press statement received here Sunday.
He observed that the flow of homecoming trips, which peaked on March 28, went smoothly, owing to sound coordination among ministries, the National Police (Polri), Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI), state-owned enterprises, and private parties.
