Jakarta, July 17 -- The Indonesian government is preparing human resources to manage over 80,000 village cooperatives nationwide, according to Manpower Minister Yassierli.

On Thursday, he said that his ministry has designed several training programs for cooperative managers, particularly those managing pilot cooperatives.

"We've already begun the training. Some participants are enrolled in online sessions, while others are attending in-person sessions in Surakarta. The training is ongoing," Yassierli said.

The program is a collaboration between the Ministry of Manpower and the Ministry of Cooperatives.
