Jakarta, Feb. 7 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has stated that the government is ready to deal with any impacts that the USAID closure policy may have on cooperation between Indonesia and the United States.
This announcement follows the official closure of USAID by US President Donald Trump on February 3.
During a media briefing held in Jakarta on Friday, the ministry's spokesperson, Rolliansyah Soemirat, stated that there was no official information available regarding the US Agency for International Development (USAID) programs that were affected by the US government's policy.
