Jakarta, July 20 -- Minister of Culture Fadli Zon stated that Indonesia holds the potential to become the world's cultural capital through its diverse cultural expressions, including traditional cuisine, local arts, traditional games, and more recently, the increasingly popular pacu jalur rowing tradition.

"Our culture is incredibly rich, as seen in the pacu jalur tradition that recently went viral. Hopefully, we can build a strong bridge between culture and other sectors such as the creative economy, tourism, MSMEs, and cooperatives," Fadli said in a statement received in Jakarta on Saturday.
