Jakarta, Oct. 23 -- Indonesia's culture minister, Fadli Zon, discussed plans to establish a museum dedicated to the Gaza genocide and Indonesia-Palestine relations during talks with Palestinian scholar Prof. Dr. Abdul Fattah El-Awaisi.
The meeting focused on the current situation in Gaza and ways to strengthen cooperation to support the Palestinian people's struggle.
"One idea we are developing is the Palestine-Indonesia Museum, envisioned as a center for historical and cultural learning between the two nations," Zon said in a ministry statement Thursday.
He added that the ministry is considering several locations for the museum, including the area near Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta.
