Tangerang District, Nov. 25 -- The Indonesia government has instructed all regional administrations to complete their environmental protection and management planning (P3LH) documents by 2026.

Environment Minister Hanif Faisol Nurofiq said in Tangerang, Banten, on Tuesday that the documents will serve as a key reference for development planning at national, provincial, district, and municipal levels.

He said P3LH documents are expected to guide the formulation and enforcement of environmental protection standards and become the basis for issuing environmental clearances.

The minister noted that the documents will also function as essential references for strategic environmental studies conducted by local governments.
