Jakarta, July 16 -- The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry ( Kadin ) has opened a global engagement office (Kadin GEO) in Paris, France, marking a strategic step to strengthen Indonesia's influence in global economic diplomacy and international cooperation.
The launch, which coincided with France's Bastille Day celebrations on July 14, 2025, was highlighted by the chairperson of Kadin Indonesia, Anindya Bakrie, as a timely move to deepen economic ties, especially following the initial signing of the Indonesia-European Union Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (I-EU CEPA).
