Jakarta, Dec. 18 -- Indonesia is open to all initiatives to develop emerging technology industries, including artificial intelligence (AI), and is ready to support global investors, Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Nezar Patria said on Thursday.

Speaking at the "Exploring the National Artificial Intelligence Roadmap: A Foundation for Self-Reliance?" discussion in Jakarta, Patria said the government is prepared to provide incentives and policy support to international technology investors.

He said Indonesia has become an attractive destination for technology partnerships, citing the country's strategic resources and potential in sectors such as semiconductors.
