Metro, Sept. 25 -- Population and Family Development Minister Wihaji, concurrently head of the National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN), stated that there are currently 3,143 Child Care Centers or Tamasya operating across Indonesia that offer childcare services.

"Tamasya provides a solution to several challenges faced by the workforce, particularly working parents who struggle to balance their jobs and childcare responsibilities, often forcing them to resign," said Minister Wihaji in Metro City, Lampung, on Thursday.

"These 3,143 childcare centers, or Taman Asuh Sayang Anak, are initiated by various ministries and the private sector. Some are even managed by corporations or State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN)," he added.
