Jakarta, June 17 -- Deputy Trade Minister Dyah Roro Esti stated that the Netherlands continues to demonstrate long-term trust in Indonesia as a strategic economic partner in Southeast Asia.
She noted that trade between the two countries reached US$5.7 billion. The Netherlands has also consistently been the largest investor from the European Union and is ranked among the top 10 investors in Indonesia.
"In the future, trade prospects between the two countries are expected to deepen through the I-EU CEPA," she remarked at a trade reception for the Dutch Economic Mission to Indonesia in Jakarta on Monday.
