Jakarta, Aug. 21 -- Environment Minister Hanif Faisol Nurofiq revealed that the investment required to achieve a total waste management by 2029 will reach approximately Rp300 trillion, including the transformation of open dumping landfills (TPA).
"We have projected the investment, and then modeled it, and it will require nearly US$20 to 21 billion, or Rp 300 trillion," said the Environment Minister/Head of the Environmental Management Agency (BPLH) at a multi-stakeholder consolidation meeting to formulate strategic steps following INC-5.2 in Jakarta on Thursday.
