Jakarta, Dec. 29 -- The Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) have deployed 37,910 personnel to expedite post-disaster measures in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra following the floods and landslides that struck last month.
TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto explained that the figure includes the recent mobilization of 15 additional units-comprising five engineering battalions and 10 territorial development battalions-tasked with evacuating and serving victims as well as restoring key infrastructure.
