Palu, C Sulawesi, July 29 -- The Central Sulawesi police have arrested three drug traffickers, suspected to belong to a Malaysia-Indonesia drug syndicate, and seized 30 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine from them.

The suspects have been identified as JK (68), HS (47), and S (28), the Central Sulawesi Police's narcotics investigation director, Senior Commissioner Pribadi Sembiring, told journalists in Palu on Monday.

JK is a resident of Salumpaga, Toli-Toli district, Central Sulawesi, while HS and S hail from Berau district, East Kalimantan, he said.

The Central Sulawesi police uncovered the drug trafficking ring after an intensive three-month investigation launched in May 2025, Sembiring added.
