Jakarta, Aug. 12 -- The governments of Indonesia and Japan, through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), are holding intensive avocado cultivation training for Palestine in the hope of improving the production and marketing of the commodity,
"We note that avocados are a promising high-value agricultural commodity in Palestine and can contribute significantly to the Palestinian economy," Head of the International Bureau of the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture Ade Candradijaya, said at the launch of the avocado cultivation training in Malang, East Java, on Monday.
