Jakarta, Jan. 23 -- Indonesia's National Narcotics Agency (BNN) has stepped up its campaign against drug trafficking in border regions, strengthening integrated operations under the national Prevention and Eradication of Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (P4GN) program.
BNN spokesperson Putu Putera Sadana explained that the initiative combines strict law enforcement with humanitarian measures, including rehabilitation programs, to protect communities and safeguard future generations from narcotics.
"The state acts firmly to close space for drug crime while providing recovery paths for users," Putu said in Jakarta, Friday, emphasizing the dual focus on enforcement and public protection.
