Padang, W Sumatra, Jan. 2 -- The National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) ensured that the Indonesian government has sufficient resources to address the impacts of floods and landslides in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra.
"We have all the necessary regulatory, budgetary, and material resources to manage the disasters in the three affected provinces," BNPB Principal Secretary Rustian said in Padang, West Sumatra, on Friday.
He noted that since the disasters struck the three provinces in Sumatra, the central government, in coordination with local authorities as well as the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the National Police (Polri), has worked together to handle the impacts.
