Makassar, S Sulawesi, Oct. 24 -- The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs has handled more than 3 million pieces of negative digital content over the past year, from October 20, 2024, to October 20, 2025.

Of the total, online gambling content accounted for the largest portion, reaching more than 2 million pieces.

"There were 3,053,984 pieces of negative content handled, consisting of 2,377,283 gambling-related contents and 612,618 pornography-related contents, including 8,517 involving child pornography," the ministry's Director General of Digital Space Supervision, Alexander Sabar, said here on Thursday.
