Jakarta, Sept. 18 -- The Indonesian National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) received support and approval from several countries for input on the preamble and provisions of a G20 ministerial resolution on disaster risk reduction.

BNPB representatives joined officials from other G20 members in virtual talks held on September 16-17, which will continue on September 25-26 as part of preparations for the commemoration of the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction on October 13.

The Indonesian delegation, led by BNPB Deputy for Systems and Strategies Raditya Jati, received support from India, the United Kingdom, Norway, and China for contributing to the drafting of the upcoming resolution, according to a statement cited in Jakarta ...
